Auto-Retract
The patent pending Auto-Retract is an innovative zip line brake system developed by and used exclusively on Mobile Zip Line and Stationary Zip Line packages from Spectrum Sports Int'l. It is suitable for shorter zip lines up to 150' long.
The Auto-Retract is attached via a brake line to the trolley that travels down the ride cable. When the trolley reaches a predetermined distance the brake line produces resistance which smoothly slows the rider to a stop. It’s an automatic braking action that cannot be controlled or tampered with by the rider or the operator. The Auto-Retract also returns the trolley cart to the top of the zip line for improved throughput.
